Agastache x 'Blue Fortune' is commonly referred to as Blue Fortune Hyssop or Blue Fortune Hummingbird Mint. It is European hybrid between Agastache rugosa and Agastache foeniculum in the mint family. This hardy, herbaceous perennial favorite features an upright, clump forming habit with violet blue flower spikes atop grayish-green anise/licorice scented foliage. Long-lasting flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Blue Fortune Hyssop thrives in full sun in average, very well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. It is an ideal perennial as a vertical accent that brings bold, late season color.
